‘Applying to college can wait till my senior year.’ That is the worst thinking that is wrong college-bound high school student may have!
It’s time to get informed. Stepping into college is really a long, hard process and it is getting harder as university admissions becomes more and much more competitive.
Check out things you need to be doing BEFORE your senior year.
Plan your senior year classes and prepare for them. Grades can be a big aspect in university admission choices, and people grades should be people in challenging courses. Be sure you are using the most readily useful classes you’ll your senior year. It is not a to take it easy year. You may would also like to ready so you can do your best. If you will likely be in AP English, you might want to get the guide list and pre-read the assignments. If you’re going to take calculus, you might like to work with a tutor for a couple months come early july to examine algebra while having an introduction to calculus.
Plan you SAT and ACT tests. Develop you have currently taken these tests throughout your year that is junior to some training and discover where your weaknesses are. Nov your year that is senior is you need to be re-taking these tests to improve your ratings. Come july 1st could be the time for you to enroll in test prep courses and to both review test prep booklets and just take test that is online.
